Job Duties/ Responsibilities:
- Facilitates the communication between the kitchen and the service staff
- Ensure food is prepared and served in a timely manner
- Verifies food orders
- Communicates with management and servers in regards to menu changes throughout service
- Notifies servers for food pick up
- Delivers food as required
- Prepares leftover food for take out
- Ensure set up of pass area at the beginning of every shift
- Prepare and place garnishes on the appropriate food items
- Prepare trays for servers with the correct plates to ensure delivery efficiency
- Complete side duties as required including, polishing silverware, restaurant set up, and filling of condiments
- Assists the section holders in keeping the side station tidy.
- To maintain a high standard of ethical behaviour
Competencies:
- Communication Skill (Hindi – Spoken, Punjabi – Spoken, English – Spoken & Written) – Average
- Social Skills – Ok
- Food & Beverage Knowledge (Theoretical and practical) - Ok
